Alexis Feldt

Alexis Feldt is the pen name used by the stormDMCA content protection desk. We publish under a pen name for the same reason our clients do: the sites we file notices against read what we write, and none of us wants a name and an address in their inbox.

What is behind the name is the team that runs the takedowns. Everything on this blog comes out of that work: the notices we send to websites, hosts and CDNs, the delisting requests we file with Google Search and Google Images, the replies we get back, and the cases where nothing works and we have to escalate. When an article says a step works, it is because we watched it work on real cases.

We are not lawyers and nothing here is legal advice. Where a question needs one, we say so instead of guessing.

Every article is reviewed and signed off by a person before it goes live. Where a draft was prepared with AI assistance, the editorial review is what we stand behind, and the date of that review is recorded on the post.
